MEXICO CITY — A fierce political satire has landed a jumbo distribution deal after an alleged Mexican government bid to censor the pic.

Helmer Luis Estrada’s “La Ley de Herodes” (Herod’s Law) will open Feb. 18 in up to 250 cinemas across Mexico, according to distrib Artecinema, which inked a deal with Estrada on Jan. 7.
