HOLLYWOOD — Sandra Bullock is in discussions with Castle Rock to topline “Murder by Numbers.”
Script has caught the eye of Bullock, who insiders say had such a pleasant experience starring in the Donald Petrie-helmed “Miss Congeniality” (due to open Dec. 22 via Warner Bros.) for Castle Rock that she’s very much considering starring in the newest effort by “Salton Sea” scribe Tony Gayton. She is also talking with Castle Rock about other projects.
No director is as yet attached to “Numbers.”
Script centers on two gifted high school students who plan and execute a series of “perfect” murders, then engage in a battle of wits with an FBI profiler who is working her first field case.
Bullock is repped by Creative Artists Agency.
