HOLLYWOOD — France’s Deauville Festival of American Cinema has announced its 26th annual film lineup, which will unspool by the Normandy seaside Sept. 1-10.

Pics to be showcased range from big-budget August bowers “Space Cowboys” and “Hollow Man” — which will open the event — to Steve Buscemi’s indie feature “Animal Factory.”

The lineup also includes “What Lies Beneath,” “Rules of Engagement,” “Scary Movie,” “Center Stage,” “Keeping the Faith” and “High Fidelity.”

Also slated are Takeshi Kitano’s “Brother,” Ang Lee’s “Crouching Tiger, Hidden Dragon,” Fina Torres’ “Woman on Top” and the French thriller “Garde a Vue.”

Indie Panorama

The fest’s Panorama section spotlights independent U.S. productions. In addition to Buscemi’s “Factory,” screenings will include Darren Aronofsky’s “Requiem for a Dream,” Leslie Woodhead’s “Endurance,” Griffin Dunne’s “Famous,” Robert Greenwald’s “Steal This Movie,” Rodrigo Garcia’s “Things You Can Tell Just by Looking at Her” and David Mamet’s “State and Main.”

Also on tap this year are tributes to Susan Sarandon, Clint Eastwood, Dino De Laurentiis and Samuel L. Jackson. An evening dedicated to Broadway musicals will be held Sept. 6.
