Samuel Goldwyn Films has upped Tom Quinn to the post of director of acquisitions.
Quinn will relocate to the company’s Gotham offices, where he will head up all acquisitions.
“The possibilities in independent film are wide-reaching,” said Quinn. “Overseeing acquisitions for such a well-known film brand is a tremendous opportunity.”
Quinn, who joined Goldwyn in 1997, most recently served as manager of production and acquisitions, evaluating and tracking films for possible pickup. He also served as the company’s liaison for all physical production. Prior to that, he assisted chairman and founder Samuel Goldwyn Jr.
