Creative affairs exec helped with 'Dinosaur,' 'Mulan'
HOLLYWOOD — Disney announced Monday it has upped Leo Chu to VP of creative affairs in the feature animation division.
He’ll supervise development of films generated at studios in California, Florida and Paris, reporting to Pam Coats, senior VP of creative affairs.
“He has a keen eye, a great understanding of the business and has done meticulous work for us on so many titles,” Coats said.
Chu has been with the Mouse House for seven years and has helped shepherd such pics as “Mulan” and the upcoming “Dinosaur.” He is focused now on 2001 toon “Atlantis: The Lost Empire.”
