Bush returns to Film Roman

Tapped as veep of animation production

After a two-year stint as co-producer of the Miramax/Touchstone animated series “Clerks,” John M. Bush has once again dropped anchor at animation house Film Roman.

Bush, who left the company in 1998 after serving as a producer on “The Family Guy,” has been tapped veep of animation production. He will supervise the day to day output of the indie studio, which currently produces “The Simpsons” and “King of the Hill.” In addition, Film Roman recently fashioned a deal with Marvel Media to produce an “X-Men” series, based on the comic book.

Previously, Bush has held posts as production supervisor for the USA series “The Itsy Bitsy Spider,” and as project manager for multimedia attraction “The NFL Experience.”
