Devorah Moos-Hankin has been upped to prexy of feature production at Barry Kemp’s Bungalow 78 Prods.
For the last three years, former Imagine Entertainment veepee Moos-Hankin has assisted Kemp in the supervision of production and development on such Bungalow 78 pics as “Romy and Michelle’s High School Reunion” and “Patch Adams.”
Now, Moos-Hankin is co-producing the Leonardo DiCaprio starrer “Catch Me If You Can” at DreamWorks, with Kemp, Michel Shane and Tony Romano producing.
Scripted by Jeff Nathanson (“For Better or Worse”), “Catch” is based on the true exploits of teen conman Frank Abagnale Jr., whose autobiography Bungalow 78 optioned in 1997.
Projects currently in the works under Moos-Hankin for Bungalow 78 include the following:
- Kemp’s screenplay “Seeing Red,” produced by Howard and Karen Baldwin and based on the 1994 purchase of the Russian Army hockey team by an American citizen.
- Moss Hart’s autobiography, “Act One.”
- Rick Cleveland’s screenplay “You Send Me.”
- “The Spa Movie,” by Robin Schiff, Winnie Holtzman, Julia Sweeney and Wendy Goldsmith.
