Jordana Brewster, who starred in “The Faculty” and “The ’60s,” has joined the cast of Universal’s street-racing drama “Redline.”
Brewster will play the love interest of Paul Walker, who is portraying an undercover police officer infiltrating street races to bust a hijacking ring. The project, previously titled “Racer X,” is due to begin shooting this summer in Los Angeles under director Rob Cohen.
Brewster is starring with Cameron Diaz in Fine Line’s “Invisible Circus” and recently appeared on the young Hollywood cover of Vanity Fair. She is repped by CAA.
