Penny Marshall’s Parkway Prods. has picked up the comedy spec “Big Baby,” with Donald Petrie (“Miss Congeniality”) attached to direct.
Petrie is currently supervising a rewrite by scribes Dan Rosen (“The Curve”) and Matt Roshkow (“Munchies”). “Baby” concerns a man who can’t hold down a job and, in an attempt to save his marriage and family, becomes a pro wrestler who quickly develops a following.
Marshall and Parkway president Sean Corrigan will produce “Baby” in association with Gary Pagar, chairman of A-List Pictures.
Rosen is repped by Eric Gold and Julie Wixson at Gold/Miller Co. and by attorney David Feldman at Bloom, Hergott, Cook, Diemer & Klein; Roshkow is repped by Paradigm and AMG.
