Adlabs sets float to fund Bombay Imax

Public issue to be used for 4 multiplexes

NEW DELHI — Motion picture processing laboratory Adlabs Films plans to raise $11 million in a Dec. 11 offering on the Bombay Stock Exchange. Company is setting up the country’s first Imax dome in Bombay.

According to chairman and managing director Manmohan Shetty, the proceeds from the public issue will be used for the completion of four multiplexes, including the Imax theater.

At 30 meters in diameter, the dome will be the largest in the world, with a capacity of 520 seats.
