HOLLYWOOD — Producers Ivan Gulas (“Bruno”) and Christopher Eberts (“Driven”) have teamed together to form new-media studio MirageQuest Entertainment.
Through subsid NetCastingStudio.com, MirageQuest will be able to offer encoding and Netcasting capabilities for Internet projects. For TV, the studio has received an investment from Orad Hi-Tec Systems, a provider of virtual studios. MirageQuest will have HDTV capabilities and direct-to-video rendering from freely moving cameras.
“Our mission is to empower content creators and to enable very high-quality productions within limited budgets,” Gulas said.
Gulas was a visual effects supervisor on “Olympic Glory,” a large-format project produced by Frank Marshall. Eberts produced “Woman Wanted” starring Kiefer Sutherland and Holly Hunter.
The MirageQuest facility will be located in Hollywood.
