Macy named Fandom’s chief marketer

Sci-fi and horror site Fandom.com has tapped Beverly Macy as chief marketing officer. She will work out of the Santa Monica office and head up all marketing and sales activities for the Netco, which aggregates news from fan sites for shows such as “Star Trek,” “Buffy the Vampire Slayer” and “Xena: Warrior Princess.” Previously Macy was exec VP of marketing at infrastructure company SoftAware Networks.
