Kerouac’s ‘Orpheus’ emerges at Subrights

A previously unpublished novella by Jack Kerouac, “Orpheus Emerged,” is being published online through, a Netco that is also selling the audio and electronic display rights to the work. Written in 1945, novella is based on Kerouac’s burgeoning friendships with Allen Ginsberg, William Burroughs and Lucien Carr. was founded last year by publishing vets Joel Fishman, Robert Riger and Jacqueline LeDonne.
