EMI Music Publishing has inked a deal with cellular phone manufacturer Nokia to offer customized ring tones from the label’s catalog, less than two weeks after filing a lawsuit against YourMobile.com for offering similar services.

Starting this fall, Nokia cell phone users will be able to select EMI songs on the Internet and digitally command their cell phone to use that ring. EMI is seeking $45 million in damages from Santa Monica-based YourMobile.com for allegedly using 300 EMI tracks without authorization.
