Roger Woolery has been promoted to VP, post-production services at Warner Bros. Pictures’ Idea Place, the studio’s inhouse creative advertising agency. Woolery will report directly to Ricky Mintz, Idea Place senior veep.
Woolery’s promotion is designed to help develop the Idea Place as a postproduction facility capable of finishing all of Warners’ theatrical TV spots and trailers.
For the last two years, Woolery has worked independently for several studios in addition to campaigns for the Warners films “Eyes Wide Shut,” “The Green Mile” and “Any Given Sunday.”
The Idea Place’s work on the “Any Given Sunday” trailer and TV campaign was recognized with a Silver and a Bronze medal at the 1999 Omni Intermedia Awards and two first-place Mobius Advertising Awards.
A 1990 UCLA graduate, Woolery previously worked as a production supervisor at Aspect Ratio and as director of postproduction at Castle Rock.
