WMA London deals for U.K. publisher

Percentery inks exclusive rights pact with Canongate

LONDON — The William Morris Agency’s newly restructured London office has struck an exclusive deal to represent film and TV rights for U.K. publisher Canongate.

Move is the first by lit agent Stephanie Cabot since she was promoted to managing director of WMA-London last month.

“We’ve been successful in selling our clients’ work to film and TV companies, and in many instances, involving our writers in the adaptation of their work to the screen, so it’s a natural step for us to offer the same services to Canongate,” Cabot said.
