Warner Bros. Domestic Television Distribution has upped media research maven Bruce K. Rosenblum to executive VP of the department.
Also, Liz Huszarik has been named senior vice president of media research at WBDTD.
Rosenblum will continue to report to WBDTD prexy Dick Robertson, who made the announcement Tuesday. He’d previously been senior vice president of Warner Bros. Corporate Media Research since 1993, while Huszarik — who reports to Rosenblum — had been vice president since 1994.
The two execs are responsible for the research activities at Warner Bros. Domestic Television Distribution, Telepictures Distribution, Telepictures Prods., Warner Bros. Domestic Pay-TV, Cable & Network Features and Warner Bros. Media sales, as well as the company’s inhouse focus group department.
“These promotions recognize the importance of the contributions Bruce and Liz make not only to our television distribution operation, but across so many dif-ferent divisions in our company,” Robertson said. “With their hard work and dedication, our Media Research department has become an invaluable asset to many businesses throughout Warner Bros.”
Rosenblum first joined Telepictures (which was subsequently merged with Lorimar and later with Warner Bros.) in 1981, as director of research. He’s also spent time at Paramount Domestic Television Distribution and ASI Market Research.
Huszarik joined Warner Bros. Media Research in 1991, as a manager. Other stints include account exec at KEYT Santa Barbara and programming associate at TeleRep.
Rosenblum is not related to Bruce Rosenblum, executive vice president of TV at Warner Bros., although the two share a lot of the same mail.
