Will Vinton Studios, best known for animating the “California Raisins” and “M&M” ads, has tapped Jeff Farnath chief financial officer.
Farnath, who was most recently CFO of Walt Disney Feature Animation, will further develop the animation studio’s forays into film, television, commercials and the Internet. Studio exec produces “The PJs” with Imagine Entertainment and Eddie Murphy, in association with Warner Bros.
At Disney, Farnath served as business development veep and chief financial officer for the Mouse House’s feature animation and Walt Disney Theatrical Prods. arms, where he also managed long-term strategic planning and production financing.
Farnath also oversaw the formation of the Secret Lab, the Mouse House’s digital animation and f/x studio, which recently produced “Dinosaur.”
