NEW YORK — Jeff Bridges has signed with United Talent Agency for representation as the percentery continues to bolster its ranks of male stars. Bridges had been at CAA for nearly two decades.
The three-time Oscar nominee, who’ll be seen Feb. 4 starring in Fine Line’s “Simpatico” with Sharon Stone, just completed filming “The Contender” opposite Gary Oldman and Joan Allen. Bridges, who has done 50 films over his career, is about to make his debut as singer-songwriter with the upcoming CD “Be Here Soon.” The rock ‘n’ roll disc, produced by Ramp Records and distributed by Chicago Records, bows March 1. Bridges continues to be managed by Neil Koenigsberg.
The signing comes a week after UTA scored a coup by signing Harrison Ford for representation.
