Fox syndie arm Twentieth Television has upped Ivey Van Allen from exec director to VP of media relations.
Van Allen will continue to head all corporate and entertainment publicity efforts for the studio-distrib, including the strategic planning and execution of national publicity campaigns for all of Twentieth’s firstrun and off-net product.
She is currently ushering the launch of syndie strip “Power of Attorney,” which debuts Aug. 28. Skein is the follow-up to the company’s 1999-2000 entry “Divorce Court.”
Prior to her move last year to Twentieth publicity, Van Allen served as director of advertising and promotion for the company. Before that, she served as manager of ad-promo for Paramount Domestic Television and as publicist for Fox’s “America’s Most Wanted.”
