Ramping up its production arm, Trimark Pictures has promoted creative exec Alex Sanger to director of development.
In his expanded role, Sanger will oversee Trimark’s story department while spearheading its development slate. He will report to senior veep of production Robin Schorr.
Sanger, who has been with Trimark since November 1998, has played a hand in a number of projects, including “Stalk,” now in post-production, the Jennifer Jason Leigh starrer “Skipped Parts” and the Wachowski brothers’ “Carnivore,” from a script by the brothers, Larry and Andy. Prior to joining Trimark, Sanger worked in development at Caravan Pictures/Spyglass Entertainment.
