Mitchell H. Nedick has been upped to exec veep, finance and operations at the WB.
Nedick, who’s been at the Frog net since 1994, remains the key exec in charge of the web’s broadcast, financial and administrative operations. He reports to WB CEO Jamie Kellner, who announced the promotion last week.
“Mitch has quietly and effectively been one of the network’s real behind-the-scenes stars,” Kellner said. “His fiscal discipline has us on course to attain our long-stated goal of profitability in the 2000-01 broadcast season.”
One of the WB’s first handful of staffers, Nedick started as head of finance and administration. Most recently, he served as senior veep of finance and administration for the net.
Prior to landing at the Frog, Nedick spent nine years at Tribune Broadcasting.
