SYDNEY — Three members have been named to the board of Studio City, which is developing a A500 million ($325 million) theme park and entertainment precinct in Melbourne’s docklands.

The new members are director Fred Schepisi; Michael Bartok, senior VP, business and legal affairs of Viacom Entertainment Group; and John Rushton, CEO of Australia’s fourth largest TV network, WIN.

Bob Annells, former CEO of the Docklands Authority and of Tourism Victoria, was tapped chairman.

Studio City expects to complete funding the project by March and to start construction soon after.
