Glenn Oakley has been upped to senior VP of corporate strategy and international at Showtime Networks, the company announced Tuesday.
Oakley will be charged with developing and managing the network’s international business — including developing new channels, fostering joint ventures, and overseeing distribution and programming acquisitions.
He’ll continue to report to Showtime Networks exec VP of corporate strategy and communications Mark Greenberg in the company’s Gotham headquarters.
Oakley moves from his position as VP of business strategy. Prior to serving in various other capacities at Showtime, he was director of marketing and sales at Time Warner Cable and sales and marketing manager at Continental Cablevision.
