Showtime taps pair of creative execs

Pintauro, Bragg get promotions

Showtime Networks, a Viacom subsidiary, has upped two execs. Frank Pintauro has been named senior vice president and senior creative director of creative services/programming, and Dan Bragg has been upped to senior vice president, senior creative director of Showtime’s Red Group.

Pintauro’s expanded responsibilities will include finding properties and programming concepts suitable for development as Showtime original pictures. He will continue to supervise programming decisions included in developing the cablenet’s family films division banner “Showtime Original Pictures for All Ages.”

The division recently received four Daytime Emmy wins and 21 nominations under his supervision. He will also continue to oversee three areas of the cablenet’s Red Group, including new channel launches, editorial programs and affiliate co-branding.

Pintauro reports to Len Logge, executive vice president, creative and marketing and Ann Foley, executive vice president, east coast programming.

Bragg recently served as vice president, senior creative director, on-air promotion, creative services for Showtime. Bragg was responsible for the spearheading of Showtime’s “On the Edge” promotion and was involved in its “No Limits” promotion.

In his new position, Bragg will be responsible for leading all Red Group branding content for the cablenet, as well as all video and print creative work for Showtime original pictures, series and theatricals. He reports to Logge as well.

Bragg joined Showtime in 1994 as a senior writer/producer.
