With an eye to expanding its film and TV industry presence, perf rights org SESAC has opened a West Coast office.
“Los Angeles is ground zero for the film and television industries as well as a good portion of the pop industry,” SESAC chair Stephen Swid said. “We want to make our services more accessible to film, TV and pop writers.”
To spearhead those efforts, SESAC senior veep of writer-publisher relations Pat Rogers will relocate to the West Coast office at 501 Santa Monica Blvd. in Santa Monica. She will continue to oversee the firm’s writer and publisher catalog acquisition efforts.
Recent SESAC signings include Christophe Beck, whose credits include “Buffy the Vampire Slayer” and “The Practice”; Jon Erlich, “Party of Five” and “Mercy Point”; and Roger Neill, “King of the Hill” and “Chicago Hope.”
