Marc Weinstock has joined Sony’s Screen Gems as VP of marketing.
He will help supervise the marketing and promotion of Sony’s niche-aimed releases. Upcoming pics at the label, formed last year, include Karyn Kusama’s “Girlfight” and Guy Ritchie’s “Snatch.”
Most recently, Weinstock co-created and developed iJunket, a fully interactive online marketing tool he licensed to DNA Studio.
Prior to creating iJunket, he served as director of marketing at Fox Searchlight for three years. There, he worked on the development of marketing campaigns for more than 30 films, including “The Full Monty,” “Waking Ned Devine” and “Boys Don’t Cry.”
