Playboy Intl. TV has stepped up operations, signing four new senior execs, including naming Douglas Lindquist exec VP of networks.
Lindquist and the three other hires will be based at Playboy Intl. TV’s Miami office and will report to its prexy William Fisher. The group will manage the day-to-day operations of Playboy’s channels worldwide.
Other company adds are Marc Zand as veep of legal and business affairs; Ana Teresa Arismendi, VP of finance and administration; and Suzanne Jewel, veep of marketing and communications.
Most recently, Lindquist worked as exec VP of satellite sales and international network operations for the Playboy Entertainment Group. In that post, Lindquist oversaw the daily activities of the group’s pay-per-view channels Playboy TV, Spice and Spice 2.
Zand most recently headed up the legal and business affairs division at the Cisneros Television Group, forming joint ventures for the creation of future TV channels with broadcasters in Latin America, Spain and Portugal.
Arismendi, during her previous stint as Cisneros’ director of finance, developed all the company’s business plans including forging partnerships and making programming acquisitions. Jewell, as the former director of marketing for Playboy TV Latin America and Iberia, led the promotional campaigning for the region’s launches of Playboy TV and Spice.
