Nickelodeon Movies has tapped Gina Ross vice president of marketing. For the past five years, she’s been director of multicultural marketing at Buena Vista Pictures.
At Nickelodeon, she’ll oversee marketing and promotion plans for the division’s releases, and will report to Albie Hecht, president of film and television entertainment, and Julia Pistor, senior vice president of the movie division.
At Buena Vista, Ross was involved with “Armageddon,” “Tarzan,” “Toy Story 2” and “The Lion King,” among others. She earned an MBA at UCLA.
Nickelodeon Movies currently has “Snow Day” in theaters and “Rugrats in Paris — The Movie” set for release this Thanksgiving.
