A Delhi High Court is gathering evidence in an investigation of Star TV, Sony Entertainment TV and Zee Telefilms in India for violation of currency rules under the Foreign Exchange Regulations Act.

Together, the nets have allegedly violated the rules relating to revenue earned through advertising in India to the tune of $112 million, illegally expatriating $775 million since 1993.

The case is to be presented in court on Sept. 26. Star and Zee are beamed from Hong Kong, Sony from Singapore.
