U vet replaces Fair in Spain

Universal Studios Recreation Group has promoted veteran exec Gregory Miller to managing director of Universal Studios Port Aventura theme park near Barcelona, Spain.

Miller replaces B.J. Fair, who is leaving to pursue other interests. He previously served as senior VP and chief financial officer for international new business development at Universal Studios Recreation Group, where his responsibilities included leading business development for all of the company’s international operations including Port Aventura, Universal Studios Experience in Beijing and the upcoming Universal Studios Japan in Osaka.

Miller will be responsible for all aspects of Spain’s largest theme park, including attraction construction and hotel and resort development.
