Innovative Artists has promoted six-year agency vet Richie Jackson to head of its Gotham office.
Jackson, who began as an assistant to the only agent in the tenpercentery’s New York office in 1993, will now oversee a staff of 17 agents who rep performers in voiceover, beauty, broadcast, talent and literary endeavors.
“The expansion of our New York office speaks to the quality of our clients and to the deep well of talent New York has to offer,” Jackson said. “Innovative Artists is unique in its commitment to New York City.”
The agency reps theatrical, TV and screen stars including Edie Falco (“The Sopranos,” Broadway’s “Side Man”); Frank Langella (“Lolita,” legiter “Present Laughter”); Kate Nelligan (“The Cider House Rules”); and Patti LuPone (“Summer of Sam”).
