Fox Broadcasting has upped three of its on-air promotions executives.
The network promoted Howard Schneider to vice president, on-air promotion, for Area 21, the inhouse graphics and on-air promotions department that creates Fox’s interstitial spots.
Schneider will oversee day-to-day operations at Area 21, helping refine the network’s on-air image. He’ll report to John Luma, senior vice president of on-air promotion.
Schneider previously served as vice president of on-air promotion at Fox Sports Net, and prior to that, as vice president of creative development at the Disney Channel.
Before moving to the Disney Channel, Schneider held a variety of promotion and paid advertising posts at Capital Cities/ABC, where he began his career in on-air promotions.
Fox has also named Louise Carter to director, on-air planning, and Pamela Fears to manager, on-air planning. Both will report to Jason Haikara, vice president of on-air planning at Fox.
Carter was previously director of affiliate promotion at Fox, while Fears was a coordinator of on-air planning at the network.
