DreamWorks Consumer Products executive Holly Beverly has been tapped VP of promotions for 20th Century Fox.
Beverly’s appointment was announced Wednesday by Fox’s senior veep of publicity and promotions, Jeffrey Godsick.
“In the past years, promotions have become an increasingly important part of our campaigns,” Godsick said, “and Holly’s creativity, energy and passion will be instrumental in publicizing our exciting and eclectic slate of films.”
Beverly’s new post begins immediately, just in time for her to spearhead promotional efforts for upcoming Fox titles, including the latest Farrelly Bros. pic, “Me, Myself and Irene,” and sci-fi action pic “X-Men.”
During her tenure at DreamWorks, Beverly helped to launch promotional campaigns for “The Prince of Egypt” and “Small Soldiers,” along with other TV and homevid projects.
Prior to joining DreamWorks, Beverly worked at Disney’s Theatrical Prods. Group, where she contributed to Broadway productions including “Beauty and the Beast” and “The Lion King.”
