John Foster has been tapped prexy of film and TV distrib Odyssey Pictures, replacing Pierre Koshakji who will step down from the post at the end of February.
Foster will identify opportunities for Odyssey to enter the content streaming market. He will also scope out firstrun products for theater and TV.
Foster hails from Dallas-based JL Media Services LLC, which has produced 12 films and most recently created the video exhibits for Cleveland’s Rock and Roll Hall of Fame Museum.
“We are very excited to have Mr. Foster as the president of Odyssey,” said company CEO Johan Schotte, who thanked outgoing prexy Koshakji “for his enormous dedication and support.”
Koshakji will serve as a consultant to Odyssey until Foster officially joins the company next month.
