Entertainment attorney Deborah Wagnon has joined the international law firm of Greenberg Traurig as a shareholder focusing her practice on music and films.

Wagnon has worked with recording artists Gloria Estefan, Reba McEntire, Olivia Newton-John and others. Prior to joining Greenberg Traurig, Wagnon was partner and lead attorney at the Nashville office of John Mason Partners.

Beverly Hills-based Millennium Multimedia.com, has named vet entertainment exec Bobby Roberts president. Roberts, a film producer, previously founded Dunhill Records and has managed the Mamas and the Papas, Richard Pryor, Mama Cass Elliot, Paul Anka, Ann-Margret and others. He has also produced for 20th Century Fox, Paramount, Canon Films and CBS Films, and served as prexy of the Lorimar Music Group.

iN Demand has tapped Stephen Earley as VP of promotions marketing.

Earley will be responsible for developing iN Demand’s brand awareness and marketing. By working with national and regional promotional partners including retailers, program suppliers and studios, Earley will promote the network’s program offerings and help increase its revenue efforts.

Earley joins the company from 20th Century Fox where he was director of national promotions, overseeing the national campaigns and corporate tie-ins for “Dr. Dolittle,” “Entrapment,” “Independence Day” and “There’s Something About Mary.” Prior to being director of national promotions, Earley was manager of northeast publicity and promotions at Fox and a publicist for Universal Pictures.

EnterTech Media Group has tapped Gregory L. Stuart exec veep, worldwide productions and distribution.

Stuart is responsible for overseeing all the production and international distribution activities for the company as well as for acquiring feature films in various stages of development.

Previously, Stuart worked for Cineville Intl. where he served as exec VP, worldwide production and distribution.

Belo upped Marian Spitzberg to senior veep, human resources.

Spitzberg will work closely with Robert W. Decherd, Belo’s chairman, prexy and chief exec officer, and members of the company’s management Committee.

Spitzberg joined Belo as assistant general counsel in 1992 and was most recently the company’s veep, deputy counsel and secretary.

Brian Bracco was tapped group news exec for Hearst-Argyle Television.

Bracco will work with a group of Hearst-Argyle television stations’ news departments to strengthen their competitive position in their respective markets.

Previously Bracco was news director of WTVN-TV, Columbus, Ohio, and before that of WBRC-TV, Birmingham, Ala.

James Kraus has been upped to the newly created post of exec VP and general sales manager of domestic TV, at Carsey-Werner.

Kraus will oversee domestic sales operations, with all sales offices and personnel reporting directly to him. He joined the company last year as senior VP and regional sales manager after a long stint at RCA/Universal TV.

Kraus will remain based in Gotham.

Capitol Records has tapped Dave Sholin as VP of pop promotion. Sholin will be part of Capitol’s overall radio game plan including scheduling of releases, single selection and format strategy.

Sholin began his career as an on-air personality at KFRC San Francisco, where he was part of the programming team that led KFRC to “Station of the Year” for seven consecutive years.

Universal has tapped Brian Rogers VP, finance and administration, Universal Creative. Rogers formerly served as senior director, finance, and will now be responsible for the oversight of financial control and reporting; estimating and scheduling functions; cost tracking and administrative policies for the company.

Before joining U, Rogers was a member of the finance team at Sony Development.

Robert Roth has been upped to aviation specialist at the Fox News Channel. Roth will provide commentary and special reports on aviation related news.

Previously, Roth worked for United Press, New York, as a general news correspondent, later transitioning to an aviation specialist where he covered the crash of Pan Am Flight 103 overScotland.

Steve Beswick has been upped to senior VP at Promark. He will be responsible for planning Promark’s yearly production schedule, developing the projects from a production standpoint, casting; and overseeing actual production and post- production on Promark projects.

Jan Cox has been tapped as VP of business development at Quickband Networks. Cox will oversee the licensing, development and distribution of short-form entertainment across digital and traditional channels and manage day to day operations of the company.

Prior to signing with Quickband, Cox served as director of the animation division for Palm Pictures.

John Bryan has been upped to senior veep, general sales manager, East at Buena Vista Television. Bryan previously served as a senior VP of sales, Southeast. Based in New York he will oversee the sales force in the New York and Atlanta regional offices and supervise all East Coast syndication and cable sales.

Suzan Jenkins has been tapped senior VP of marketing at RIAA. Jenkins will be responsible for coordinating a series of industrywide marketing campaigns that showcase the quality and value of recorded music.

Jenkins comes from the Smithsonian Institution where she was the exec director of America’s Jazz Heritage, a Partnership of the Lila Wallace-Readers Digest Fund and the Smithsonian Institution established in 1992.
