Bradley M. Fazzari has joined the Itsy Bitsy Entertainment Co. as senior licensing manager of off-screen entertainment. Fazzari was formerly senior product manager for Mattel/Arco Toys.He will be responsible for managing and supervising the development and production of all products within the company’s toys, video, publishing and apparel divisions.

Starz Encore Media Group has upped two execs. Leslie Nittler has been tapped senior VP, new-media sales and affiliate relations, and Jillaina Wachendorf has been named senior VP, cable sales and affiliate relations.

Nittler will lead a team of 25 people focusing on the distribution of the company’s 13 channels through various new media. She advances from her post as VP of new-media sales, which she has held since 1994.

Wachendorf will now be responsible for AT&T, Cox, Comcast, MediaOne and the National Division. She manages a staff of more than 50 and was instrumental in the opening of four regional sales offices in 1996.

QuickBand Networks has signed on Kim Adelman as editor of Short, a compilation of live-action, animated, experimental and documentary short films distributed on DVD. Company has also upped Craig Wells to director of acquisitions.

Adelman’s duties include overseeing editorial content of the DVD compilation.

She joins the company from FXM: Movies From Fox, where she launched the short film division. She also produced 19 films for the company.

Wells joined the company in 1998 as marketing services manager. He was later upped to acquisitions associate. Prior to QuickBand, Wells was creative services coordinator at Buzz and Buzz Weekly.

Richard Goldner has been tapped supervising producer of the “KTLA Morning News.”

Goldner has been with the program since its inception in 1991, serving as a writer and, most recently, producer. In addition to morning duties, he, along with Marta Waller, produced all of KTLA’s O. J. Simpson trial coverage, for which they earned the Golden Mike Award. Prior to joining KTLA, Goldner was a remote producer at “CBS This Morning.”

Scout Electromedia has named Marc Vogl content editor. He will oversee all content of the new products to be distributed by Scout next year.

Previously, Vogl was music editor and associate editor at CitySearch/San Francisco. He is the founder and co-producer of the San Francisco theater, film and Web company Killing My Lobster and is also the producer of the Bay Area’s Hi/Lo Film Festival.

DTS has tapped Ross Hering VP of marketing for its new professional audio division. Hering will direct the launch of the company’s 5.1 mastering encoder for studios creating multichannel film and music content for DVD, DVD-A and CD.

Previously, Hering was instrumental in the development of Lucasfilm’s THX division. He also worked with TMH Corp. and, most recently, served as veep of marketing at film tech service provider DES.

Globecast America has hired Darby Sanchez VP, sales, for Latin America and Florida. Based in Miami, Sanchez will oversee customer relations and sales development for the company’s array of products and services across Latin America and Florida.

Sanchez joins the company from L3 Communications-Satellite Transmission Systems, where served as director of sales for Latin America.

Kevin Moran has been named VP, business development, and Kathy Connelly account exec in Lifetime Television’s sales department.

In his new post, Moran will act as a liaison between Lifetime’s national sales offices and other departments to develop business opportunities and maximize existing business. He will also manage the sales efforts of the Lifetime Online Web site. He was previously account exec with the company’s Gotham office. He joined Lifetime in 1991 from NBC.

Connelly joins the company from Mediavest in New York, where she served as senior VP, group director, national broadcast on the Procter & Gamble account.

Fox Interactive has tapped Karly Young director of brand marketing.

Young will oversee product marketing of Fox’s PC lineup, as well as overall growth for the interactive brand.

Previously, Young served as marketing director at NovaLogic, where she helped spearhead launches of numerous PC franchises, including “Delta Force” and “F-22 Lightning.”

Greg Yen has been upped to the position of VP, international TV, finance and accounting for 20th Century Fox Intl. Television.

Yen will continue to oversee accounting and finance for Intl. Broadcast TV, Worldwide Pay TV and Fox’s equity interests in movie channels worldwide.

Yen joined Fox in 1996 as manager of finance for Intl. TV.

Martin Blythe has been tapped as veep of publicity for Paramount Home Entertainment.

Martin will assume responsibility for all trade and consumer PR activity for Paramount brands in North America, including Paramount and Nickelodeon vids and DVD.

Martin last served as PR director for Buena Vista Home Entertainment.

CNBC has named Adam Idleberg as a writer for the network news show “Today’s Business.”

Idleberg joins CNBC from Florida’s News Channel in Tallahassee, where he was a producer for “Florida Business Now.”

Cabler TBS has hired Andrew Glaser as veep of entertainment marketing.Glaser will develop and oversee marketing strategies and off channel marketing executions for all entertainment products on the superstation, including original movies and series.

Prior to joining TBS, Glaser served as regional director for Bass Beers Worldwide.

Gordon Peppars has been tapped local sales manager at KTLA. Peppars will add to his previous duties as national sales manager a larger responsibility for revenue budgets and supervision of local account executives.

Rosemary Danon, a TV innovator and Internet exec with AT&T, and Bonnie Guiton Hill, president and CEO of the Times Mirror Foundation and senior VP of communications and public affairs at the Los Angeles Times, have been appointed to the board of directors at Hollywood Entertainment Museum.
