King World Prods. has tapped Mark Severino manager, program development. Severino will be involved in all current programming as well as new program development for the company.
Severino joins King World from KCAL-TV, where he served as a producer of nightly sportscasts, sports specials and promotions. He has also held positions at Fox Sports News, KABC-TV, Prime Ticket Network, Paramount Studios and Weintraub Entertainment.

TV Guide Networks has upped Amy Buckingham-Bates to VP of marketing and Suzanne Meeks to VP of promotions and publicity.
Buckingham-Bates will oversee all marketing efforts for TV Guide’s Internet products and services. She will also be responsible for strategic development of consumer, affiliate and advertising communication and develop cross-promotions strategies. Formerly, Buckingham-Bates was director of marketing for TV Guide Networks, and prior to that, she was VP of affiliate marketing for E! Entertainment Television.
As VP of promotions and publicity, Meeks will handle external/internal promotions and publicity for TV Guide Networks. Meeks, who joined the company in 1998 as director of promotions and publicity for TV Guide Networks and Prevue Networks, was previously the VP at Toppino-Bozell, an advertising agency.

Bill Stutzman has been named to the newly created position of director of Entertainment Weekly Online. Stutzman will work with the magazine’s various departments to integrate its print news online. He will also be responsible for generating new revenue opportunities and developing partnerships. Most recently, Stutzman worked as Entertainment Weekly’s associate consumer marketing director, overseeing its online subscription acquisitions.
