Becomes board member for Dutch producer of 'Big Brother'

LONDON — Endemol Entertainment, the Dutch producer of “Big Brother,” has named Ronald Goes to take over as chief operating officer, beginning Jan. 1.

Goes, 35, will be one of six members on Endemol’s executive board, chaired by John de Mol, and will be responsible for all TV operating companies within the Endemol group.

In 1995, Goes co-founded Amsterdam-based SBS Broadcasting, which owns TV channels SBS6 and Net 5. He remains an executive board member of the company and manages its financial and legal affairs.
