HOLLYWOOD — Music attorney Doug Mark has joined the entertainment law firm of Barnes Morris Klein & Yorn. He will head the firm’s music department.
Mark, who had been in private practice and had served as general counsel to Epitaph Records and Giant Records, brings with him such clients as Christina Aguilera, Motley Crue, Danny Elfman, Nashville Pussy and Epitaph Records.
Co-founding partners Michael Barnes and Kevin Morris said the addition of Mark signals the continuing expansion of their 4-year-old firm. “We’re booming with Doug’s addition, particularly as to opportunities in the new-media and convergent areas,” Barnes said.
The Santa Monica-based firm, comprised of a dozen lawyers, reps such clients as Jim Carrey, “South Park” creators Trey Parker and Matt Stone, Samuel L. Jackson, John Cusack, Matthew McConaughey, Propaganda Films and Sarah Michelle Gellar.
