Network creating 24-hour channel en Espanol
Playboy TV Networks is going after the Hispanic market in the U.S., creating a 24-hour Spanish-language channel beginning Aug. 1 called Playboy TV En Espanol.
The network will in effect be a clone of the Latin American Playboy Channel, which Playboy operates in partnership with the Cisneros TV Group. The programming will differ somewhat from the English-language Playboy Channel.
Playboy is planning to engineer an elaborate marketing and promotion campaign, working with local Spanish-language TV stations, radio stations, newspapers and magazines.
