Music channel moving HQ from Hamburg

BERLIN — MTV Europe has announced it will be moving its headquarters from Hamburg to Munich by the end of the year.

Brent Hansen, CEO and president of MTV Europe and Christiane zu Salm, managing director of MTV Central, said they would be moving the broadcaster’s main offices into the Loden-Frey estate in Munich’s posh Englischen Garten district in November. Much of MTV’s programming is already being produced in the Bavarian capital, yet the music channel will keep its production facilities in Berlin as well as its offices in Frankfurt and Cologne.
