It has been more than 30 years since “The Saint” shot through the airwaves, but now Roger Moore is slated to return to the television landscape in Hamilton Entertainment’s syndicated actioner “The Dream Team.”
Set for a Sept. 25 debut nationally, Moore will play the leader of an elite squadron of intelligence agents fighting evil, with Jeff Kaake, Angie Everheart, Traci Bingham and Eva Halina starring as the buff warriors. Hamilton’s partner, Expand, will distribute the show throughout Europe.
Moore is best known to film auds as James Bond, appearing as Agent 007 in seven pics. Besides “The Saint,” Moore also starred in such television shows as “The Persuaders” with Tony Curtis, “The Alaskans,” “Ivanhoe” and “Maverick.”
“The Dream Team” will air across the United States and is cleared in 85% of the country.
