“Friends” writer-producer Jeff Greenstein has inked a two-part multi-year deal with NBC Studios.
The Emmy-nominated Greenstein will develop projects exclusively for NBC and tackle co-exec producing duties for “Will & Grace.”
Most recently, Greenstein was consulting producer on the series, which is exec produced by Max Mutchnick and David Kohan.
Greenstein has nabbed two Emmy nominations for penning segs during the first season of “Friends” and picked up one CableACE and one GLAAD award during his five-year stint as writer, supervising producer and creative consultant on HBO’s “Dream On.”
Other TV credits include co-creating and exec producing “Partners” during the 1995-96 season.
The Broder, Kurland, Webb, Uffner Agency and attorney Jim Jackoway repped Greenstein in the deal.
