'ET,' 'Fox Files' settle over JFK Jr. material

NEW YORK — The battle between Fox News and Paramount TV regarding footage of John F. Kennedy Jr. is over.

On Thursday, the sides agreed to a settlement, the details of which were undisclosed. Fox News originally sought $500,000 and an apology from Par TV.

Fox News had accused Par’s “Entertainment Tonight” of stealing 25 seconds of exclusive footage of JFK Jr. that premiered on the Fox network’s “Fox Files.”
