A little time away from New York City has done Conan O’Brien a lot of good.
Last week’s visit to NBC’s Burbank studios has produced the highest “Late Night With Conan O’Brien” overnight results in nearly eight months — a 2.7 rating, 11 share, in the 47 markets metered by Nielsen.
That’s the top rating for the dominant late-late talker since March 22-26.
In L.A., “Conan” was up 18% vs. season-to-date averages to a 3.5/16. The week’s Tuesday-Friday telecasts originated from Burbank, while Monday featured a rerun of the show’s fifth-anniversary spec.
It was the first week away from the show’s Gotham studio base in its five-year run.
