Lingerie dispenser grabs $1.6 mil half-minute

NEW YORK — Fox has sold its last available Super Bowl spot Monday to lingerie dispenser Victoria’s Secret.

The 30-second, $1.6 million commercial destined for the testosterone-heavy broadcast should probably run in the fourth quarter, if only to counter audience erosion in the event of a lop-sided contest.

Then again, it might not hurt Fox Sports to give its most loyal demographic some half-time programming that actually qualifies as entertainment.
