Danielle Surrette

Danielle Surrette, legit actress and producer, died July 1 following a car accident north of Los Angeles. She was 30.

Surrette graduated from Boston U.’s College of Communications and moved to Brooklyn to study with Suzanne Shepherd, John Costopolis and Ada Brown Mather.

She later relocated to Los Angeles, where she helped found the Sacred Fools Theater Co. Surrette co-created, co-produced and co-wrote the company’s signature “Crime Scene.”

She is survived by her parents and three brothers.

Donations in Surrette’s memory can be made to the A.S.P.C.A.
