Bruce Springsteen’s world tour with The E Street Band will begin April 9 in Barcelona, Spain, and venture to Germany, Italy, Austria, Switzerland, France, England and Ireland. The tour will feature a combination of arena, shed and select stadium shows.

Dates are confirmed through June 7 though more will be announced later. The U.S. leg will begin in mid-July and continue through the end of September. Springsteen will perform May 18 and 19 at the Earl’s Court in London.

The E Street Band will feature both of the band’s most prominent guitarists, Steve Van Zandt and Nils Lofgren, as well as Roy Bittan, Clarence Clemons, Danny Federici , Patti Scialfa, Garry Tallent and Max Weinberg.

To coincide with the tour, Columbia Records on April 13 will release “18 Tracks,” a single CD compilation of highlights from the “Tracks” box set plus three other cuts: a 1973 version of “The Fever,” a solo acoustic version of “The Promise” recorded in February and “Trouble River,” a number recorded during sessions for the “Human Touch” album.
