LAS VEGAS — Luxor Hotel and Casino will bring Moscow’s famed Bolshoi Ballet to the 1,200-seat Imagine Theater on the Vegas Strip Sept. 3-5.
This will be the first time that a ballet company has performed at the Luxor. The limited engagement is the first stop of the ballet company’s 25-city U.S. tour called “Bolshoi, the Classical Collection — From Russia With Love.”
The production will be directed by Vladimir Vasiliev, former lead principal dancer and current head of the Bolshoi Theater.
Program will feature a mixed repertoire including the “Don Quixote” ballet suite, the second act of “La Bayadere,” the adagio from “Spartacus,” the pas de deux from “Le Corsaire” and the solo “Dying Swan.”
Part of the Mandalay Bay Resort Group, Luxor brought Vegas its first full-length legit show, the tuner “Chicago.”
